Etna Half Day Experience
See the best of Etna in half a day: an intense, engaging way to explore Europe’s highest active volcano without giving up comfort or a relaxed pace.
The excursion starts with convenient hotel pick-up. After a short drive, the adventure begins: a spectacular lava tunnel, a natural gallery carved by lava flowing beneath the cooled crust, and living proof of the volcano’s power.
From there, an easy trekking route leads to the lateral craters, at about 2300 metres. Breathtaking views open up over Etna’s lunar landscape and the lava flows that mark its eruptive history. Walk among ancient and recent flows and see the land’s transformation up close.
Midway through, stop for a packed lunch surrounded by nature, in the silence and majesty of the Sicilian mountain.
Departure between 8:30 and 9:00 AM – Return expected at 1:30 PM

Etna Full Day Experience
Want to see Etna in all its variety? Go full day. This adventurous, fascinating journey takes you across both the North and South sides of the volcano, each with its own character, landscape and mood.
The day starts with hotel pick-up, then a visit to a lava tunnel: an exciting descent into the heart of the volcano to understand its underground structure.
Along the way, see ancient lava flows that tell the story of historic eruptions, alongside darker, sharper recent flows that show the volcano is still very much active.
The highlight: a lunch stop at a local winery or farmhouse, where you can taste the true flavours of the Etna area in an authentic, welcoming atmosphere.
A complete experience: nature, geology, food and wine, unique landscapes.
